Darwin Deez has today announced a UK tour, German tour, Australian tour, summer festival dates and a FREE Rough Trade In-store.
With a bona fide hit single in the slinky form of “Radar Detector”, sold out shows across the country, a number of summer festival dates lined up and a critically lauded debut LP under his skinny belt, Darwin Deez undoubtedly has summer in the palm of his hands.
He is not done yet however – on July 12 he releases his new single “Up in the Clouds”, a handclap-equipped belter of a love song, and plays a free in-store gig at Rough Trade the day after to celebrate. He is also charging into the summer with slots at pretty much every music festival of note, following hot on the heels of raucously received performances at The Great Escape and on the NME Radar Tour.
If that isn’t enough, Darwin is also embarking on a mammoth 15 date UK tour in October, kicking off in high style on October 12 in Manchester. Tickets for which will go on sale at 9am this Friday June 11.
So if, for some reason, you have missed him at the festivals, he will be taking his own inimitable, gloriously celebratory live show on the road, where his gorgeous, addictive, off-kilter pop treats will be mixed up with all manner of synchronised dance moves, to undeniably rousing effect.
The new single “Up in the Clouds” is out July 12
