Darwin Deez – 10th Coolest Musician in the World

Today’s NME features Darwin Deez on it’s cover – yes the COVER – as he has placed a fantastic (lucky) number 10 in their annual Cool List.

Darwin Deez – 2011 Dates Announced

Hot on the heels of his current sold out 17 date UK October tour, which began this week in Manchester, Darwin Deez is announcing a new 9 date UK tour for early 2011.   

Starting once again in Manchester on February 24 at Academy 2 and ending up at Concorde 2 in Brighton on March 5, the run will also include Darwin’s biggest UK show to-date on March 3 at the 1,400 capacity Koko in London. Support will come from the amazing Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

This autumn has seen Darwin inch ever closer to bona fide pop superstardom, with his upcoming single “Constellations” making its way onto the Radio 1 B-list as well as forthcoming appearances on the Radio 1 Student Tour with Mark Ronson and the Live Lounge on October 19 with Fearne Cotton at Lincoln University.

 This tour will further cement Darwin Deez’s reputation as one of the brightest new stars in the pop firmament, and one of the most unique and unmissable to boot.  Tickets for all 2011 shows went on sale today at 9am.  Full dates and flyer below. [ read more ]

Darwin Deez – Radio 1’s Student Tour

Darwin Deez is to play with Mark Ronson for Radio 1. Fearne Cotton and Zane Lowe will be heading off on BBC Radio 1’s Student Tour for four days in October, coming live from University towns and cities across the country. Monday October 18: Mark Ronson + Darwin Deez at Northumbria University Newcastle.
