Deers – Demo

We are thrilled to announce that we will be releasing the debut AA single, ‘Demo’, from Deers on July 28. Limited to just 500 copies worldwide the vinyl can be pre-ordered here. Our friends at Mom+Pop will be releasing in the US.

Deers are from Madrid and are Ana Garcia Perrote, Carlotta Cosials,  Ade Martin and Amber Grimbergen and Bamboo and Trippy Gum are two of the most perfectly ramshackle pop songs you will ever hear.

‘Bamboo’ flies like an arrow to the heart: pure ’60’s pop sounds, cantering rhythm and guitars twanging with tremelo, feeling effortless as the pair interpolate each other’s lyrics instinctively. “I need you to feel like a man when I give you all I am. I know you’re not hungover today, you are classifying your cassettes”

As it’s title suggests, ‘Trippy Gum’ offers a more psyche edge, with a gloriously extended fuzz-solo, and at least two massive songs crammed into it’s four and a half minute duration. It’s bottled magic and leaves our glasses nearly full with anticipation of a Deers-filled vision of the future.

Deers will be making their debut London appearance next week at Sebright Arms on Monday 9th June.
