Christian Rich have today premiered a remix of forthcoming single ‘Better To’ courtesy of rising Chicago producer Gilligan Moss.

Gilligan’s take on ‘Better To’ distills Balearic pop essence from the original song’s core and follows the viral success of his own ‘Choreograph’, and a likewise lauded remix of Glass Animals’ ‘Gooey’. Further, by pushing the featured vocals of DWNTWN and the Now Faith Apostolic Church Children’s Choir into the foreground, the track takes on an uplifting and euphoric air, culminating in a remix that is hard to resist.

We’re thrilled and proud to be releasing the debut EP, ‘SS14’, from Christian Rich AKA DJ and production duo and twin brothers Taiwo and Kehinde Hassan. 

Nigerian raised, Chicago born, LA-based Christian Rich recently contributed to #1 Billboard albums for Drake, J Cole and Childish Gambino, as well as producing 4 tracks for Earl Sweatshirt‘s #1 Rap Billboard album, ‘Doris’.

The lead track from the EP is, ‘Better To’,  a collage of vintage and vanguard that immediately sets them apart. It features both LA band DWNTWN and the Now Faith Apostolic Church Children’s Choir, assembling a dance floor chic surround from the best tricks of the Chicago, Paris, and Detroit production camps.  ‘Better To’ premiered on FADER today.
